1. Overview

These Terms of Service set out the conditions under which GoDigitize (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides website design and related digital services to clients (“you”, “your”). By working with us or using our website, you agree to these terms.

2. Our Services

We provide website design, website setup, content support, basic SEO, and related digital services. All work is carried out to the scope agreed in writing before any project begins.

We use Squarespace as our website platform, which includes hosting and payment processing via Squarespace Payments or its integrated providers. All Squarespace services are subject to their own terms and policies.

3. Project Process

Before work begins, we will confirm:

– the agreed scope of work

– timelines

– the total cost or agreed pricing package

– what we require from you (e.g., branding, imagery, written content)

We cannot begin work until all required information, content and assets are provided.

4. Payment

Payment terms will be stated in your project agreement or invoice.

– A deposit may be required before any work begins.

– Final payment is due once the build is completed, prior to website launch.

– Payments are processed through Squarespace’s integrated payment system.

Late or non-payment may delay delivery or launch.

5. Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

– Providing accurate, complete and lawful content (text, images, product information, etc.)

– Ensuring you own or have permission to use any materials supplied

– Responding in a timely manner to requests for information or approval

You retain full responsibility for the legality of any content published on your website.

6. Website Ownership

Once full payment has been received, you own the design and content we have created for you.

Squarespace retains ownership of the platform itself, hosting, themes, and technical infrastructure. Your ongoing licence to use the platform is governed by Squarespace’s own terms.

7. Revisions

Each project includes a reasonable number of revisions as agreed in your package. Additional revisions or changes outside of scope may incur extra costs, which will be confirmed before work is carried out.

8. Timelines

Any timelines provided are estimates. Delays may occur if:

– required information is provided late

– payment is delayed

– requested changes exceed the agreed scope

We will always communicate clearly if timelines change.

9. SEO and Performance

We provide baseline SEO setup as part of the build. We cannot guarantee specific search engine rankings or traffic levels. Performance can vary based on numerous external factors, including competition and ongoing optimisation.

10. Third-Party Services

Your website may use third-party services (e.g., Squarespace, Google Maps, analytics tools, plugins). We are not responsible for issues, downtime, or policy changes by these third-party providers.

11. Data & Privacy

Any personal data collected through our website or via project communications is handled according to our Privacy Policy, which is available on our site.

Client website data is hosted by Squarespace and subject to their privacy and security standards.

12. Disclaimer

All services are provided using reasonable skill and care. However, we cannot guarantee:

– uninterrupted operation of your website

– compatibility with all browsers or devices

– protection against all cyber threats

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

– loss of profits, revenue or business

– data loss or corruption

– any indirect, incidental or consequential damages

Our total liability for any claim relating to our services will not exceed the total fees paid for the project.

14. Cancellations & Refunds

If you wish to cancel a project, you must notify us in writing.

Deposits are non-refundable.

Refunds for work already completed are not provided.

15. Amendments

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page.
